DISCOUNT-First International Conference on Electron Magnetic Resonance Applications

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the First International Conference on Electron Magnetic Resonance Applications, it is my pleasure to extend a formal invitation to you to attend and contribute to this scientific event. It will be held in Burgas (Bulgaria) 2 - 3 September 2024. The programme will consist of three invited lectures, oral presentations and poster session. The invited lectors are as follows: Prof. Gunnar Jeschke from the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences, ETH Zürich, Switzerland, with title of the lecture: “Operando EPR and Hyperfine Spectroscopy in Heterogeneous Catalysis”; Prof. Valery Khramtsov from Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, Director of In Vivo Multifunctional Magnetic Resonance center, West Virginia University,Morgantown, USA with title of the lecture: “In Vivo Molecular Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging of Tumor Microenvironment”; Dr. Bela Bode from EaStCHEM School of Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences Research Complex, and Centre of Magnetic Resonance, University of St Andrews with presentation title: “Investigating protein structure and function through paramagnetic substitution of natively bound metal ions”.

At the moment you can take advantage of the reduced registration fee, which for the two days conference (2-3 Sept) is 320 EUR for academic participant and 270 EUR for Students. Deadline for abstract submission extended to 1 July, 2024. More details concerning scientific programme, scheduling, registration, abstracts (format, submission), social events, and accommodation are available on the conference website (https://13symp.sciconf.eu).
